Marlow’s Cheesesteaks is an independently owned, Columbus-based restaurant brand founded by Philadelphia natives and husband-and-wife duo Jomar (“Marlow”) and Shanika Sheppard. Built on authenticity, quality, and community, Marlow’s brings true Philly-style cheesesteaks to the heart of Ohio—done the right way.
The brand launched as a food trailer in 2021, quickly earning a loyal following for its bold flavors and commitment to premium ingredients. In 2022, Marlow’s opened its first brick-and-mortar location, marking the next step in its growth. Fastforward to 2025, Marlow’s Cheesesteaks operates four locations across Columbus, Ohio, including high-traffic community and event-driven venues.
